Herman Miller Workplace Resource and client, CH2M Hill were recently featured in an article highlighting workstation trends and performance.
2003
Herman Miller Workplace Resource opened its doors in a new location, 1899 Wynkoop, Suite 550.
The new showroom features workplace applications designed to solve real workplace issues like teaming, technology support and space utilization. “From the moment you walk in, the space is conducive to client interaction by allowing visitors to easily access technology and readily understand the product applications,” said President, Carla Dore. “The design is meant to inspire a client’s thinking and provoke creativity in their own spaces. Herman Miller’s knack for melding style with optimum work functionality will be showcased in the office’s technology-rich design.”
2002
SMART BUSINESS magazine's "Small Business Secret Weapons" feature recognized Herman Miller Workplace Resource's e-business cards. Developed with I-mediaworld.com, the tool allows us to tailor a multi-media presentation to each client's specific needs.
BUSINESS ETHICS once again named Herman Miller as one of its top ten "Best Corporate Citizens". The magazine praises HMI's "Design for Environment" (DfE) protocol. This tool provides a method to measure a product's environmental impact by looking at design criteria like:
* which materials are environmentally-friendly?
* are the materials toxic?
* what is the recycled content of materials used?
* is the product easy to disassemble for recyclability at end of the product’s life?
Herman Miller has appeared on the list 3 times, and is the only company have received the Business Ethics Award twice.
NEWSWEEK featured many Herman Miller products and innovations as part of their April 29, 2002 "Office of the Future" article.
During the annual meeting of all the Herman Miller Certified Dealers in Phoenix, HMWR-Colorado, was recognized as a leader in providing the Social Security Administration, with office environments, products and services.
HMWR-CO was one of six dealers in the USA honored by Herman Miller Inc, for its work over the past years of service for the Social Security Administration. Over the past 5 years, over 19,600 workstations were installed without missing a single deadline.
As a result of our stellar performance, SSA recently awarded HMI and the six SSA dealerships, including HMWR-CO, an unprecedented new 10 year agreement to supply furniture and related services to SSA. Our company wishes to thank all of those involved in our ongoing success with SSA, including Kris Currence, Connie Carl, BJ Roberts, Catherine Hall, Carla Dore and Tracey Bryant.
FORTUNE magazine ranks Herman Miller the "Most Admired" company in its industry in its annual survey measuring the reputation of America's corporations. The results appear in the magazine's March 4, 2002 edition.

financial analysts, marking the 15th time in the 16-year history
of the rankings.
